PUMPJACK Confirmed To Headline Next Month's DIMEFEST

November 10, 2005

PUMPJACK have been confirmed as the headliners of Dimefest, an all-day event scheduled to take place December 10 at the Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth, Texas. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Dimebag Darrell Memorial Fund, which has been set up to help the victims of the December 8, 2004, Alrosa Villa shootings in Columbus, Ohio which took the life of PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott.

Dimebag has worked with PUMPJACK on countless occasions. You can see photos of Abbott and PUMPJACK on their web site at this location. Also appearing on the bill will be STATUS HATE, a band which features in its ranks 17-year-old Ruben Aguirre Jr., who was nicknamed "R2" by Dimebag. R2 was Darrell's protégé since he was a young boy up until Dimebag's death. The concert also include an appearance by PREMENISHEN, the band featuring Dimebag and Vinnie Paul's cousins Heather Manly and April Adkisson. April was recently endorsed by Dean Guitars.
